Privacy Policy

We collect the following information when you use the relevant features:

• Name and email address: the display name you choose and the email address used to create or access your account. If you choose Apple or Google sign-in, we receive the account information needed to sign you in.
• User ID: your username and an internal account identifier used to connect your profile, friends, and games.
• Coarse location and other profile content: the optional location and bio you enter in your profile. The app does not request your device’s precise GPS location.
• Contacts: the friends and friend requests you create inside Ceelo. We do not read or upload your phone’s address book.
• Gameplay content: saved games, dice rolls, match results, rankings, achievements, and virtual Ceelo Cash balances and transactions.
• Product interaction: activity needed to operate features such as online presence, invitations, game participation, and rewarded-ad completion.
• Advertising and device data: our advertising providers may process a device or advertising identifier where permitted; IP address and approximate location inferred from it; device, operating system, app, language, and connection information; ad impressions, views, clicks, and reward events; product interaction; and performance or diagnostic data. The exact data available depends on your region, consent choices, device settings, and the advertising partner serving the ad.
• Website analytics: page visits, referral source, clicks, session duration, browser and device characteristics, and performance information. Website session recordings may show navigation and interaction with the interface. Text entered into form fields is masked before it is sent to our analytics provider.
• Support and technical information: information you choose to send when contacting support, and technical request information such as IP address, device type, operating system, and app version. Crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic data may also be processed to keep the Services working and understand technical problems.

Guest play does not require an account. Your game preferences are stored on your device.

You provide account and profile details directly, or through Apple or Google sign-in. The app records gameplay and social activity as you use those features. Our service providers receive technical information when the app or website connects to them.

We use this information to authenticate accounts; display profiles; run games, friends, rankings, and virtual balances; maintain online presence; respond to support requests; display, measure, and limit ads; verify rewarded-ad completion; prevent fraud and abuse; and maintain the Services’ reliability. We do not provide your name, email address, profile content, friends, wallet balance, or gameplay history to advertising partners for ad targeting. When a signed-in player chooses a rewarded ad, we use a pseudonymous account identifier to verify the reward and credit Ceelo Cash to the correct wallet.

We use Supabase to provide account authentication, database storage, and online game and social features. We use PostHog to understand website usage, improve the player experience, diagnose technical problems, and review masked website session recordings. If you choose Apple or Google sign-in, that provider processes authentication information under its own privacy policy. We require service providers acting for us to protect information to a standard consistent with this policy and applicable law, and to use it only to provide the services we request.

The mobile app uses Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) to mediate and deliver ads, and advertising networks participating through LevelPlay may process the advertising and device data described above. We use Google’s User Messaging Platform to request and record advertising privacy choices where required. These providers process information under their own privacy terms.

We may also disclose information if legally required, to protect users or the Services, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising providers may use device identifiers and ad activity for third-party advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and, where permitted by your choices, personalized advertising or tracking across apps and websites.

Ceelo may show an interstitial ad at a natural gameplay break and offers optional rewarded ads that you can choose to watch for virtual Ceelo Cash. You do not have to watch a rewarded ad to use the game.

Where required, the app presents an advertising privacy message before requesting ads. You may be able to review or change those choices through the privacy options shown in the app. You can also control tracking permission in iOS Settings. If you decline personalized advertising or tracking, you may still receive contextual or non-personalized ads. We do not access Apple’s advertising identifier unless permission and applicable law allow it.

We keep account, profile, friend, and gameplay information while your account is active so the Services work. You can permanently delete your account in the app through Settings → Delete Account. This removes your login, profile, friends, wallet, achievements, and game history. An active online game is forfeited. To preserve another player’s virtual balance history, a settlement amount may remain without your account identity.

We may retain limited support, security, or legal records when necessary to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse. Advertising providers may retain device, ad-event, consent, anti-fraud, and reward-verification records under their own retention schedules and legal obligations. Other service providers may retain backup or technical records under their applicable retention schedules. Contact us if you want details about a particular record.
